HISTORIC
BELDEN HOUSE
Built in 1922 for Ralph and Gretchen Belden
and their son John . The architecture is inspired
by the missions and homes of the early Spanish
Grandees who settled Alta California. Thick stucco
walls, heavily beamed ceilings & river rock
fireplaces in the public rooms and graceful arches
enhance this lovely Russian River Valley estate
designed by noted architect, John Warnecke.
The mansion houses a great room, solarium / game
room, and reading lounge. The dining rooms and
kitchen are home to the inn's cooking school.
The multi - leveled terraces around the swimming
pool and outdoor jacuzzi are adjacent to the mansion.
